We are delighted to announce that Sean Sexton, has qualified as a registered chartered surveyor. Congratulations!
For the last couple of months it’s been clear to everyone in the office that Sean has been working incredibly hard to prepare for the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) which has elevated him from AssocRICS to MRICS. Once the APC was over, the whole office collectively breathed a sigh of relief!
The MRICS demonstrates that Sean’s knowledge and experience is “gold standard” within the property industry. Sean joined us in January 2016 and quickly became a valued member of our professional department. This latest achievement is not only a personal one but also demonstrates to our clients that Sean is a true professional and that he adheres to the highest professional standards.
As expected, Sean is relieved that his hard work has paid off and comments:
“I’m absolutely thrilled to have earned my MRICS. Working at Readings has given me the opportunity to put all the theory into practice and I can now focus on progressing my knowledge further and working to a high standard.”
Peter Woodthorpe, Readings’ Managing Director comments:
“The RICS make it pretty tough to become fully qualified these days and only around 60% of candidates pass!
In my day the RICS did not test candidates over such an extensive range of knowledge (it must have been easier otherwise they wouldn’t have let me in!) and Sean has put in a lot of work preparing for his assessment. He deserves a big pat on the back for this achievement.”
At Readings, we work with many governing bodies to raise standards within the Leicestershire property market such as NAEA and ARLA and we’ll continue to do so.
